The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 20 minutes of play, Uitzi FC's Hermelando Huguet made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deivid Siqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Uitzi FC's Hermelando Huguet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deivid Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Caio Brancos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Gomesano Serrano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Osmundo Viejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deivid Siqueira. Catao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmundo Viejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Barros was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jardel de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uitzi FC the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Jardel de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Caio Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Deivid Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalo Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Deivid Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lalo Morales went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Gomesano Serrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Branco in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 minutes of play Catao FC's Marcel Galvão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Uitzi FC booed when Catao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Hermelando Huguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Deivid Siqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Osmundo Viejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deivid Siqueira was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Caio Branco put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Gomesano Serrano. Uitzi FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
