Henk Ijksma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute Cléberson Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan Ricksen in the 13th minute of play forced Guarama FC's goalkeeper Serginho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Adriaan Ricksen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Falco Tieleman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Víktor Pombal got free with Gert van der Werff in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jailson Amorim hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Adriaan Ricksen scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Cléberson Madureira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adriaan Ricksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Cearense having to interfere. Gert van der Werff made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Víktor Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cléberson Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hellcity Redstars F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
