Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Patricio Ugutz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis. But to his dismay, Geovanildo Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Dolar in the 26th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's attentive Bünyamin Başel managed to snatch the ball when Drew Zaelani made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Patricio Ugutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovanildo Luis's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radul Kokalov made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Drew Zaelani. Patricio Ugutz came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis. But to his dismay, Geovanildo Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Joinville City - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Dolar made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Marcos Fantini made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haji Sarap was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Bünyamin Başel. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Marcus Allbäck replaced Geovanildo Luis. Joinville City - FSCMZ's George Pogba was substituted for Bernardino Llorenc. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bünyamin Başel hit a great ball. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Luisinho Uribe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal was substituted for Marcos Fantini. In the 76th minute Luisinho Uribe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 91st minute Luisinho Uribe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Adhemar Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Joinville City - FSCMZ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barcellos Mineiro FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
