In the 4th minute Peng Song Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigurd Storhaug made in the 6th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kevin Bernini however managed to control. Patricio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Are Rygg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Bernini in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Ugutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peng Song Ting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Bernini, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 24th minute of play. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Are Rygg in the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Kevin Bernini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Marcos Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Øverås narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Bonet to make the kick off. Kevin Bernini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Patricio Ugutz made a huge save. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pelle Anundsson hit a great ball. Amílton Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jo Øverås. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the game, Dale Dolar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jo Øverås was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Daustad fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Daustad's Luis Bonet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 78 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luisinho Uribe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Øverås was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Ugutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bonet's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Øverås was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Uribe in the 95th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daustad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
