The wind increased when Edgardo Silva made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ye Gang Cheng charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ye Gang Cheng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New England Minas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
