João Francisco Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Galle having to interfere. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Jonny Lagerberg. Geovanildo Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Galle made a huge save. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. 36 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haji Sarap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute of the match Kind of Blue got a corner. Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Kind of Blue's corner Joacim Hansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haji Sarap quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovanildo Luis to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haji Sarap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Sebastian Käller took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Haji Sarap to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ardahan Erginer hit a great ball. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. George Pogba replaced Bernardino Llorenc. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kind of Blue made a substitution. After having played for 79 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adhemar Santos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilhelm Galle. Wilhelm Galle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kind of Blue had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
