With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Dale Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Dale Dolar came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale Dolar couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Frank Di Meo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Patricio Ugutz made a huge save. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Amerigo Gervasi scored 6-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Barcellos Mineiro FC were the better team. Barcellos Mineiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
