After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jo Øverås made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tio Lio sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Tio Lio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peng Song Ting in the 88th minute of play. But to his dismay, Peng Song Ting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Lio got free with Jo Øverås in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Tio Lio made a precise shot to the right of Jo Øverås. Daustad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
