Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Luís Gustavo Mangueira took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 袁渊斌 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Del Materno Vengo's Luís Gustavo Mangueira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luís Gustavo Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Del Materno Vengo's Luís Gustavo Mangueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 88th minute, Luís Gustavo Mangueira made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. 97 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Gustavo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Del Materno Vengo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
