Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frasco Ferreira in the 23rd minute of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Punta in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Frasco Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Frasco Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes of play, Centenario City FC's Alessio Punta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Eztebe Cortinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Alessio Punta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Punta in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessio Punta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frasco Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Piczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Punta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Centenario City FC's Gillermo Aguirre. Alessio Punta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Gonzalo Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Centenario City FC's Alessio Punta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Alessio Punta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Centenario City FC's Gillermo Aguirre got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Alessio Punta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Centenario City FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
