With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when 马辉梁 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 马辉梁 to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in 【№1】湖南自由联队's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 黄战朋 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 黄战朋. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 【№1】湖南自由联队's 黄战朋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save 【№1】湖南自由联队 from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 60th minute. 曲鸿广 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 马辉梁 in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalkeeper 黄战朋, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalkeeper 黄战朋 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 范誉震 couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. 黄战朋 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which 黄战朋 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that 马辉梁's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 黄战朋 in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 黄战朋, 0-5. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ecuador played a much better game than 【№1】湖南自由联队 and deserved their victory. The 【№1】湖南自由联队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
