Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Cristofor in the 3rd minute of play. Amador Bembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 19th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the CANCER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Donato Dominguez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CANCER FC the free kick. The supporters of CANCER FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Lobo. CANCER FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Amador Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. After 38 minutes of play Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Amador Bembe struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANCER FC. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by CANCER FC's Rolando Cristofor. But to his dismay, Rolando Cristofor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Cristofor made a kick off. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Amador Bembe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Mouricio in the 73rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Cristofor in the 76th minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Rolando Cristofor put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Zacarias Mouricio sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zacarias Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CANCER FC's Rolando Cristofor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-3 after 96 minutes of play. When the match was over CANCER FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
