Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Torrico. Urko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Celso Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of the match. Cordaro Domenech might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordaro Domenech ran back to his position shaking his head. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Torrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes Urko FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Julian Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastián Torrico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Jesus Paskal in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 37th match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Paskal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Urko FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Celso Cruz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Torrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Urko FC's Sebastián Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Urko FC from getting a goal against them. Luz Tejedors short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Sebastián Torrico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Urko FC made a substitution. Denis Alonso replaced Celso Cruz. Julian Murillo scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastián Torrico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jesus Paskal in the 79 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Alonso in the 93rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Milagros Fraga in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Urko FC's Filomeno Kauldi.
