Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isiah Hinkle to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Vancouver Reds's Toussaint Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, 陆西迅 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Lawler in the 13th minute of the match. Eugène Jetté hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陆西迅 in the 17th minute of the match. Vancouver Reds's 陆西迅 got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Jerry Lawler made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Salvador Tate hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Lawler's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 26 minutes, Jerry Lawler made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Lawler in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Lawler might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerry Lawler ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Lawler, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jerry Lawler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerry Lawler kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After having played for 54 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerry Lawler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jerry Lawler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cameron Leary in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Ferdinand Boucher replaced 陆西迅. Cameron Leary blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Lawler in the 70th minute. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Vancouver Reds's Jerry Lawler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbson Queirós went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Eugène Jetté hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Omar Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cameron Leary, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Boucher came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Vancouver Reds's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cameron Leary, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 95th minute of the game, Patricio Costa landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 95 minutes into the game, Eugène Jetté was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Venezuela made a substitution. Roberto Ocampo replaced Patricio Costa. In the 96th minute, Eugène Jetté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vancouver Reds were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
