Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederico Barros started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Guillerme Gadea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Barros in the 4th minute of play. If Frederico Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Barros came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Mariolo got a freekick which was hit by Eguzki Binas. With a little luck, Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mariolo from getting a goal against them. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umea Loza in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Mariolo's Frederico Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mariolo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eufrasio Vall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 19th minute, Umea Loza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eufrasio Vall. The goal made the score 1-1. The nice shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eufrasio Vall had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Xavier Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eufrasio Vall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufrasio Vall was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Barros in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Eufrasio Vall however easily saved by the left post. Frederico Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Barros in the 46th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Felix Garrido made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mariolo's Guillerme Gadea. Mariolo's attentive Guillerme Gadea managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Frederico Barros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 61st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After 64 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Pietras who took care of the corner kick. Mariolo's Frederico Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariolo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Pietras in the 69th minute. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eufrasio Vall having to make a save. Mariolo's attentive Guillerme Gadea managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Frederico Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Barros got free with Thiago Pliego in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 81 in the game by Frederico Barros from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Guillerme Gadea got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Benedito Camargo. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eufrasio Vall. Eufrasio Vall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Barros. In the 94th minute, Mariolo's Umea Loza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Chile's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
