Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umea Loza in the 6th minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Barros went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 15th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umea Loza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Barros came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eufrasio Vall came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eufrasio Vall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eufrasio Vall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Barros in the 53rd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufrasio Vall having to interfere. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umea Loza's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Umea Loza put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Eufrasio Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Leonardo Leoz charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Leoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Edgar Iordănescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mariolo's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufrasio Vall came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariolo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
