Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Debruyne got free with Rolando Noboa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute of the match 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Hemeleers ran over to the corner to take the kick. 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's 林鸿松 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of play. Kevin Debruyne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Debruyne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. 林鸿松 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes in the game Nicolas Hemeleers got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 36th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Tenorio to make the kick off. Gilvan Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's Antonio Tenorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 林鸿松 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Cod Whatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Debruyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Debruyne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After 83 minutes 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's 林鸿松 did a great save. In the 86th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's 林鸿松 got control of the ball when Antonio Tenorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 林鸿松 made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target.
