If Lapurdi Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lapurdi Jaramillo in the 11th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Alvinegro de Tupã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lapurdi Jaramillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Lisandro Beltxe scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Lapurdi Jaramillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deng Shu Kuan got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lapurdi Jaramillo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Recai Garipbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lapurdi Jaramillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Salvador Gisbert made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Costa however managed to control. Alvinegro de Tupã's attentive Armandinho de Andrade managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lapurdi Jaramillo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience held their breath when Deng Shu Kuan in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Arí Mello got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Ilixo to maneuver through the defense.
