A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Comanche EC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dieguinho Aguiar took the corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from García Cuervas in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Comanche EC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. García Cuervas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling García Cuervas in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Witold Blochowiak struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comanche EC. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Blochowiak in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that García Cuervas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from García Cuervas in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell García Cuervas to make the kick off. Primitivo Andino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Dieguinho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Dieguinho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Comanche EC's García Cuervas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 63rd minute, García Cuervas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comanche EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by García Cuervas. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Blochowiak in the 83rd minute of play. Comanche EC's Eliseu Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comanche EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
