Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Inautzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Tipi in the 9th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Criston. 14 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Bernardo Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Perico to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Inautzi having to interfere. Elpidio Tipi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of play. Bernardo Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. Jaime Cazalla took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Inautzi. Bernardo Inautzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bernardo Inautzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 38 minutes in the game Teodoro Criston did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miguel Frechoso. 41 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Inautzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Tipi made a kick off. 53 minutes in the game Teodoro Criston did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emiliano Abreu. With his leg Bernardo Inautzi managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodoro Criston made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emiliano Abreu immediately put the ball in play. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. In the 72nd minute of the game Teodoro Criston made a throw-in which Miguel Frechoso played forward. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bernardo Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Bernardo Inautzi managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bernardo Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bernardo Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Tipi in the 92nd minute of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
