Emiliano Berdaitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Lluques made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Emiliano Berdaitz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Emiliano Berdaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, MORPH's Emiliano Berdaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33rd play minutes Emiliano Berdaitz shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Thiago Pliego and just under the crossbar into goal. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Melquiades Mambru was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Eguen in the 71st minute of play. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Melquiades Mambru in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Mambru, 2-3. Chile's Gerardo Pozo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anastasio Lluques, made in the 89th minute of the game. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. Melquiades Mambru didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
