Titanes Mayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 3 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Weijgaerts. When Jaime Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Franklin Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Souto in the 11th minute of play. If Zhang Xiang Han had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Titanes Mayas from getting a goal against them. Bruno Beldad charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Beldad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. Zhang Xiang Han kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Robert Bagge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mías Marin having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. The Titanes Mayas fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Titanes Mayas's Franklin Souto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Bagge's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes, Titanes Mayas's Yuri Manolev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Titanes Mayas reached it. After 46 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Zhang Xiang Han. Titanes Mayas made a substitution. Freddy Bihar replaced Rosendo Brun. Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai was substituted for Robert Bagge. Titanes Mayas's Mauro Incendio was substituted for Leo Crispo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Ruben Blai scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Weijgaerts hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ruben Blai from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Titanes Mayas were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
