Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Gomosao F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Umea during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Gomosao F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Stolniceanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmundo Espiga. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Nuxila in the 13th minute of the match. Gomosao F.C. were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvestre Ongile took the corner. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Baristo in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Baristo in the 26th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Baristo in the 27th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomosao F.C.'s Aquilino Nuxila. But to his dismay, Aquilino Nuxila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aquilino Nuxila took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Baristo in the 38th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Silvestre Ongile sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Gerardo Sancho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aquilino Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Stolniceanu having to interfere. The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gomosao F.C. were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Jesus Baristo made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Baristo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petre Stolniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fermin Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Fermin Bieito's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Bieito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, one of Gomosao F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gomosao F.C.. After a defensive mix-up in Gomosao F.C.'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Stolniceanu came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Petre Stolniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Baristo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Baristo ran back to his position shaking his head. Petre Stolniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gomosao F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Jesus Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jesus Baristo sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Stolniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gomosao F.C. defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Stolniceanu. The Gomosao F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Stolniceanu should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Estebe during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enzo Estebe hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petre Stolniceanu. Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s Vicente Dalmai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Gomosao F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gomosao F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
