After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Vedat Arslanoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. When Jofurs Drängar's Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sten Mellin was slow to take the kick. During this time Jofurs Drängar's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Cirilo Lefebre heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ola Berg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ola Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jofurs Drängar booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes, Vedat Arslanoğlu made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ola Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Vedat Arslanoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute Alfons Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Helström's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Lefebre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Jofurs Drängar's Magnus Glad was substituted for Cirilo Lefebre. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Magnus Glad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Vedat Arslanoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the game's 70th minute Jofurs Drängar's Sten Mellin took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso and thus the score was 0-5. Vedat Arslanoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ola Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Helström came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Helström's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes, Vedat Arslanoğlu made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jofurs Drängar's performance. The match ended with a win for Jofurs Drängar.
