Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Clark Kent made a huge save. Clark Kent made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 21 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Clark Kent managed to make a qualified save. Zorros del Desierto's players were relieved. After 22 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vildosola. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luca Zorita. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Kent. Clark Kent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alex Dijoux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. Alex Dijoux struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Dijoux in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clark Kent was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Zenaido Oviedo replaced Pape Lillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Silm in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Allan Silm notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Allan Silm made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Zenaido Oviedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play. The Mexico manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Zorros del Desierto to win.
