A hard shot 6 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Nilson do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Bandelocos's players were relieved. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Billy Dowdall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandelocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Guilherme Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Moraes. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Sobis made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale did a great save. Billy Dowdall kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
