Aleksey Goldshtein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aron Lipp who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aleksey Goldshtein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Leopoldo das Neves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced JK raamatuid.ee's goalkeeper Aleksey Goldshtein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Goldshtein having to interfere. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd match minute, JK raamatuid.ee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laur Randmaa to maneuver through the defense. Laur Randmaa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 43 played minutes JK raamatuid.ee got a freekick which was hit by Enno Lokko. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo das Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the game, Luis Andino landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Eit during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to JK raamatuid.ee getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hannes Eit hit a great ball. Aleksey Goldshtein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Leopoldo das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aleksey Goldshtein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Lipp in the 66th minute of play. Aleksey Goldshtein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aleksey Goldshtein made a huge save. Aleksey Goldshtein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but JK raamatuid.ee were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
