Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cosme Sugar made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cosme Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Carboncito getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leandro Peio hit a great ball. Higinio Brion made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Sugar in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Cosme Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Carboncito's Cosme Sugar. But to his dismay, Cosme Sugar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Carboncito's Cosme Sugar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Carboncito's Cosme Sugar got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Edelmiro Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Sugar in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Sugar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Poz got free with Julio Vera in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Carboncito's Cosme Sugar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cosme Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute of the match, Cosme Sugar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carboncito's Higinio Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute of play.
