Franklin Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mías Marin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Bagge in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Bagge's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Souto in the 24th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Titanes Mayas were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yuri Manolev took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute of play forced Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Mías Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Xiang Han came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Titanes Mayas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leopoldo Reneros hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa.

Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai was substituted for Robert Bagge. Titanes Mayas's Freddy Bihar was substituted for Rosendo Brun. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Franklin Souto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 60 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Freddy Bihar who took care of the corner kick. Titanes Mayas's Freddy Bihar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Blai in the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Titanes Mayas's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franklin Souto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute, Franklin Souto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 71st minute of the game Freddy Bihar made a throw-in which Qian Han Zhen played forward. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Franklin Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Yuri Manolev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Moises Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Marin came out of the goal and Moises Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Honduras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Freddy Bihar:s penalty. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel Ocampo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zhang Xiang Han during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zhang Xiang Han hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leopoldo Reneros. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ruben Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Blai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The Honduras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Titanes Mayas to win.
