Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Francesco Cilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aristide Iureș in the 11 minute of the game. Tadeo Ederono might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Ederono ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Paunero's Tadeo Ederono. But to his dismay, Tadeo Ederono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Xavier Zoido fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Xavier Zoido a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. If Tadeo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Tadeo Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Tadeo Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Tadeo Ederono made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Paunero's Tadeo Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Aristide Iureș with Francesco Cilli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Tadeo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Tadeo Ederono notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Tadeo Ederono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Ederono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ederono in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Ederono went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Aristide Iureș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Ederono made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Jacobo Nores successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tadeo Ederono scored 0-7 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute Paunero were awarded a corner. Jose Rosario went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jose Rosario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores did a great save. The supporters of Paunero booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Rosario, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Tadeo Ederono recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Tadeo Ederono showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. 83 minutes into the game, Paunero's Tadeo Ederono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. A sloppy throw-in by Francesco Cilli in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Raul Venegas. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. Paraguay's attentive Alan Campos managed to snatch the ball when Francesco Cilli made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Ederono in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Ata Cante. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paunero's performance. The match ended with a win for Paunero.
