Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moises Fernandino got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Aristide Iureș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 10 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Aristide Iureș made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Paunero's Francesco Cilli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 22nd minute Tadeo Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Tadeo Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Tadeo Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 25th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Paunero booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Magrina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Ederono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Iureș to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Mateo Leguizamo in the 41st minute really tested Albino Inguma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Francesco Cilli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francesco Cilli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Ederono made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Tadeo Ederono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paunero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After 56 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Paunero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Tadeo Ederono's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Ricardo Zorita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Francesco Cilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tadeo Ederono took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. Aristide Iureș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Paunero's Tadeo Ederono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-11 after 70 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tadeo Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paunero's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Ederono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paunero's Tadeo Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Francesco Cilli made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. If Aristide Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-14 when Tadeo Ederono sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. With an all-out effort, Paunero's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadeo Ederono, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Higinio Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The El Salvador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paunero were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
