Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Piekarczyk in the 8th minute of play. Francisco Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Muhittin Pamiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, LEON FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Piekarczyk to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Kazimierz Piekarczyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 38 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. Anier Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. The supporters of LEON FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Piekarczyk was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Anier Sanduru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adan Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, LEON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Anier Sanduru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Beldad in the 64th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match LEON FC got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adan Panfilo ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Sanduru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Maximiliano Escribano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anier Sanduru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 75 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anier Sanduru. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 78 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Piekarczyk came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute LEON FC were awarded a corner. Adan Panfilo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led LEON FC's Francisco Papo to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, LEON FC's Anier Sanduru got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Anier Sanduru managed to make a qualified save. LEON FC's players were relieved.
