Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Bragança. Campus Douro Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Godofredo Pepillo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Campus Douro Academy's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Bragança came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vedat Burçhan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Campus Douro Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vedat Burçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vedat Burçhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Vedat Burçhan notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Rodolfo Montay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campus Douro Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Burçhan in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Vedat Burçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campus Douro Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vedat Burçhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
