Fc Malá Lula's Sol Starr quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ged Mayfield took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Ged Mayfield sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sol Starr went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ged Mayfield in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Ged Mayfield charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ged Mayfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Mayfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Ged Mayfield had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ged Mayfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Intxixu in the 91st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Malá Lula walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
