But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Hugo Ferrant made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel. In the 11th play minute Axel Tasis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Antônio de Azevedo. 1-0. Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Apocalipse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio de Azevedo having to interfere. Apocalipse FC's attentive Tiago Gabriel Brodel managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Serafim de Medeiros hit a great ball. Apocalipse FC's Doriva Loyola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 33 minute of the game. 35 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aaron Alcocer. In the 35th match minute, Apocalipse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Apocalipse FC's Doriva Loyola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Carballo, made in the 39th minute of the game. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Alcocer. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Carballo made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Alcocer however managed to control. Apocalipse FC's attentive Tiago Gabriel Brodel managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Brodel. In the 69th minute Emanuel Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Rodrigues who took care of the corner kick. Efrain Moruga thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Benito Sanz, a very annoying self made goal in the 71st minute which led to 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Brodel in the 76th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. The supporters of Apocalipse FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Moruga made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. After having played for 91 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Apocalipse FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
