Antal Földes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when TheGazette's Antal Földes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. Adriano de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Müjdat Semin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Müjdat Semin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, TheGazette's Müjdat Semin got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TheGazette's Müjdat Semin did a great save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Müjdat Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Müjdat Semin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TheGazette.
