Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Földes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müjdat Semin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Földes scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Eduardo Pombal made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müjdat Semin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes TheGazette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that TheGazette's Müjdat Semin managed to reach the ball for a save. 23 minutes into the game, Gerson Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tomas Illescas scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müjdat Semin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Földes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Alcântara in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Földes to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Müjdat Semin managed to make a qualified save. TheGazette's players were relieved. With a little luck, TheGazette's Müjdat Semin got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 67th minute. Antal Földes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Müjdat Semin made a huge save. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Antal Földes made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Geovanni Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheGazette's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Földes struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheGazette. There was no doubt that TheGazette were the better team. TheGazette's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
