Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, TheGazette's Giovanni das Neves got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müjdat Semin. Müjdat Semin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TheGazette fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when TheGazette's Antal Földes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute Antal Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Gerson Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Cássio de Barros's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Földes in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Müjdat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 37th minute of play. Müjdat Semin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müjdat Semin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Müjdat Semin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.

The wind increased when Antal Földes made the kick off in the second half. TheGazette's Gerson Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Gerson Alcântara off the ground. After 53 played minutes TheGazette got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Alcântara. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Müjdat Semin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 56th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. TheGazette's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. In the 61st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Müjdat Semin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save TheGazette from getting a goal against them. Müjdat Semin was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Müjdat Semin could save by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristian Sancho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cássio de Barros got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cássio de Barros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 78th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Müjdat Semin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Geovanni Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovanni Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Müjdat Semin however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Müjdat Semin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
