Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Andaka Raa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Andaka Mula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of the match. Delta FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Cavaco in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hélder Cavaco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Gualter Roriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Delta FS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest.

The wind increased when Marcus Odin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaka Mula in the 51st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Odin went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Harry Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Harry Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Gualter Roriz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo De Matteis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo De Matteis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Amedeo De Matteis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 93 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Roriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Delta FS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
