Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Földes started the match with the kick off. Antal Földes took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TheGazette's Müjdat Semin did a great save. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müjdat Semin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Müjdat Semin however easily saved by the left post. In the 14th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Müjdat Semin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Földes in the 20th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Betão Messias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Fu Ran Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Alcântara scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Antal Földes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Földes in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes of play, TheGazette's Antal Földes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Müjdat Semin made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TheGazette's Müjdat Semin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Müjdat Semin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Betão Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Antal Földes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Földes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Carlos Eduardo Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TheGazette's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
