Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Földes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Félix in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to TheGazette getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Giovanni das Neves hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in TheGazette fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Müjdat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 30 played minutes TheGazette got a freekick which was hit by Fu Ran Jun. After a rather tough play, TheGazette's Adriano de Godoi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Júnior Aparecido's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TheGazette getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Júnior Aparecido hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müjdat Semin having to interfere. Adriano de Godoi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Geovanni Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. TheGazette's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Müjdat Semin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Müjdat Semin. TheGazette's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TheGazette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müjdat Semin was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Földes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes TheGazette got a freekick which was hit by Antal Földes. With a little luck, TheGazette's Müjdat Semin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 70 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Müjdat Semin managed to make a qualified save. TheGazette's players were relieved. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müjdat Semin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Antal Földes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After 76 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müjdat Semin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Müjdat Semin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Müjdat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TheGazette's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müjdat Semin came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Müjdat Semin skillfully saved the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than TheGazette and deserved their victory. The TheGazette players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
