Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Wool United's 汪霆谦 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, 邓亮平 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 汪霆谦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 莫青适 came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Wool United's 莫青适 got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 莫青适 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 邓亮平 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 袁强崇 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 莫青适. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 41 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 莫青适 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, 汪霆谦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wool United's supporters rose to their feet, but 汪霆谦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 莫青适 having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wool United's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 莫青适 came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 莫青适 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 汪霆谦 in the 74th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 汪霆谦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 肖强希 hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 莫青适 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
