Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Iker Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Maria having to interfere. San Antonio FC's Iker Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Maria quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, San Antonio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Iker Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Antonio FC's Iker Maria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Santiago Gaskon's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Gaskon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Antonio FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Santiago Gaskon hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of San Antonio FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Giraldo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. San Antonio FC's Iker Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Maria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Giraldo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Iker Maria in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iker Maria, 0-1. Iker Maria made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. San Antonio FC's Iker Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after San Antonio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Iker Maria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Maria was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Maria having to interfere. Iker Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Isidoro Giraldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isidoro Giraldo was slow to take the kick. During this time San Antonio FC's players had a chance to rest. Robustiano Eladio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When San Antonio FC's Isidoro Giraldo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the match, San Antonio FC's goalkeeper Iker Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iker Maria could save by the left post. The supporters of San Antonio FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Antonio FC.
