In the 3rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Magrina to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Killer Queen were awarded a corner. Felipe Ishmael went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Killer Queen's Felipe Ishmael to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Zorita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Abalos having to interfere. If Abel Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Abel Dubardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Killer Queen's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Tamayo came free, but Serafin Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Magrina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Abalos having to make a save. Serafin Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 35th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Venerando in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Killer Queen were awarded a corner. Felipe Ishmael went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felipe Ishmael got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Julio Huly in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Marco Tamayo. Amadeo Reyes's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Reyes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Killer Queen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Amadeo Reyes hit a great ball. After 56 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Abalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd match minute, Killer Queen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Tino to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Dubardo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Txindoki during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Killer Queen's Venancio Txindoki got a free kick in the 75th minute. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Serafin Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Tamayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Killer Queen's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Serafin Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Baldomiro Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Salvador.
