After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Saul Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Saul Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Felix Garrido. After a rather tough play, Sentinel's Klement Niemojewski got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Saul Canor made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Saul Canor took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Canor got free with Thiago Pliego in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. The supporters of Sentinel booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Canor in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Canor got free with Thiago Pliego in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaya Kunaefi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Budi Sudarsono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Yaya Kunaefi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaya Kunaefi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
