Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Edvaldo da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ribeiro Sales FC's protests and gave Edvaldo da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chile booed when Ribeiro Sales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Orlando Casaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Murilo Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ribeiro Sales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Ribeiro Sales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Wagner Vaida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Felix Garrido. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Isen Gard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wagner Vaida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wagner Vaida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Strandberg in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Strandberg got free with Thiago Pliego in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wagner Vaida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ribeiro Sales FC's goalkeeper Wagner Vaida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wagner Vaida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of play forced Ribeiro Sales FC's goalkeeper Wagner Vaida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ribeiro Sales FC's Edvaldo da Mata got a free kick in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ribeiro Sales FC's goalkeeper Wagner Vaida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Murilo Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Loncki during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tytus Loncki hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ribeiro Sales FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Wagner Vaida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauã Arruda during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ribeiro Sales FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Kauã Arruda hit a great ball. Wagner Vaida acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mariano Lacasa. Wagner Vaida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Chile booed when Ribeiro Sales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ribeiro Sales FC had won after a very even match.
