THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Francisco Mino managed to work through Peru's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Francisco Mino dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The throw-in from Matthias Lepage in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Kiran Tomasini in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play.
