Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Monte Lombana made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Jonas Millrick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Millrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Alan Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Melquiades Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Jonas Millrick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Millrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 44th minute, Jaime Pardo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 48 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Monte Lombana managed to make a qualified save. Porcinos Jr's players were relieved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Porcinos Jr's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Monte Lombana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Campos's late challenge caught a Porcinos Jr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Campos helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Millrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Millrick came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Porcinos Jr were awarded a corner. Roman Wydrych went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Porcinos Jr's corner Roman Wydrych fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Primitivo Escribano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Monte Lombana. Porcinos Jr's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Porcinos Jr's Uriel Urtungo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Monte Lombana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Diego Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Millrick in the 74th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Porcinos Jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Baristo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Porcinos Jr getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ulises Franco hit a great ball. Jonas Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
