Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmai Zaldua was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barcelona FC throughout the match.
