Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sinchyteam's Luciano Piearres got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Sinchyteam getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Elvio Dunixi hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fabio Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sinchyteam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Lehior couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes, Clemente Hulberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinchyteam and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Clemente Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Sinchyteam's Fabio Lehior nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Ivan Prats got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Fabio Lehior hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Elvio Dunixi might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Nuno de Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Sinchyteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sinchyteam's Clemente Hulberto got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sinchyteam's Nuno de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sinchyteam from getting a goal against them. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nuno de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Nuno de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sinchyteam.
